Abbey earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2017 from Bloomsburg University and began her career as an elementary school teacher in the Frederick County, Maryland school system. Abbey went on to earn a Master of Science in Elementary Education in 2021 from McDaniel College and continued to serve her school community as an interventionist, STEM teacher, and data literacy coach. Outside of her professional work as a teacher, Abbey developed a passion for educating and assisting friends and family with their financial wellness. She continued to pursue this through volunteering in her community to teach personal finance and walk alongside others as they learn to manage their money. Abbey joined VCE Loudoun in 2025 as a Financial Literacy Educator with the hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of Loudoun County residents through the power of financial education.
Abbey believes that equipping individuals with the tools that they need to feel financially confident is integral to building strong and thriving communities. She looks forward to partnering with Loudoun County residents to provide them with critical financial education and cheer them on as they take the next step forward in their financial journey.
